These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place through it. By using the site you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

2. Using this website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its server, or any connected database, and you may not introduce any malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time. We take reasonable care to keep the site available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these terms.

4. Pricing and product information

We take care to describe our products accurately, but specifications, images and prices are supplied by manufacturers and suppliers and may change without notice. Prices are shown in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a typing or system error, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you, and you may cancel the order for a full refund.

5. Stock availability

Stock shown on this website is a guide only. Availability is confirmed with our suppliers at the time of order. Before payment is made, please confirm stock availability with us. Where an item is on back order we will tell you the expected lead time before you commit. If we cannot supply an item within a reasonable time you may cancel that item for a full refund.

6. Packages and bundle-only items

Some items - including cables, connectors, conduit, trunking, protection devices and similar installation consumables - are supplied only as part of a complete package and cannot be bought on their own. This is clearly marked on the product page. Package contents may be substituted for an equivalent or better component where a listed item becomes unavailable; we will tell you before we do this.

7. System sizing and design tools

Any sizing calculation, package suggestion or design produced by this website is an estimate based on the information you supply. It is intended as a starting point for a conversation and is not a guarantee of performance, savings or compliance. Actual requirements depend on your loads, roof, orientation, shading, municipal requirements and the findings of a physical site survey. We recommend a site assessment before any purchase.

8. Orders and payment

An order placed through this site is an offer to buy. A contract comes into existence only once we have confirmed stock and accepted your order in writing. We may decline an order for any lawful reason, including where stock is unavailable or where we cannot verify the payment.

9. Delivery and collection

Unless stated otherwise, goods are for collection from our premises. Delivery, where offered, is charged separately and delivery times are estimates. Risk in the goods passes to you on collection or delivery.

10. Returns, cancellations and refunds

Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act are not affected by these terms. Goods that are defective on arrival should be reported to us within a reasonable time. Special-order and custom items may not be returnable. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

11. Installation and workmanship

Where we or a contractor we appoint carry out an installation, that work is covered by the workmanship warranty stated in your quotation. Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's terms and to correct installation and use.

12. Intellectual property

All content on this site - text, images, layout, logos and code - belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa and are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.

15. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
